LeAnne's summer reading recommendation

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer takes place on the island of Guernsey at the end of WWII. The island is located in the English Channel and was occupied by the German army during the war. The unconventional islanders and their interaction with the occupying soldiers make the book hard to put down. A great read for the beach or hammock.

Wooo-hooooo! The First Post!!!!

The Hillsdale Community Library is not just filled with books, movies, audiobooks, and computers . . . we are also filled with opinions!!! This blog will be a place for the entire library staff to let you know what we're reading, who our favorite authors are, what new books are coming to the library soon, what websites we've found helpful, and so much more. It's also a place for you to share your opinions. We hope that you'll use the comments section to let us know what books and media you liked, hated, just discovered, or think that other people in Hillsdale will enjoy.

The first thing you can let us know is what you think the blog should be called. "HCL Recommends" is descriptive, but it isn't very fun, so let us know if you have an idea for a better name.
